Everyone's Doula
Life is always moving. There are seasons of beginning and becoming, seasons of loss and letting go, seasons when the body asks us to slow down, and seasons when we are called to begin again. Sometimes we know exactly what we need. And sometimes we simply know that we don't want to walk through it alone. This is where I come in. As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Doula, I offer compassionate support for the many transitions of being human. I meet you where you are—with presence, curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique path. There is no one right way to move through a season of life. There is only your way.
Our bodies and lives are constantly communicating with us. Illness may ask us to listen differently. Loss may change the landscape of our hearts. Postpartum life may ask us to discover a new version of ourselves. Aging may invite us into a different relationship with our bodies, our purpose, and our time. Recovery may teach us how to come home to ourselves again. My role is not to fix you or tell you who you should be. My role is to listen, support, educate, and walk beside you. Together, we can create space to notice what is happening and explore what may support greater balance, nourishment, and ease.
Ayurveda invites us to see the whole person. Not simply a symptom. Not simply a diagnosis. Not simply a body. But the relationship between body, mind, senses, emotions, environment, daily rhythms, and the seasons of our lives. Our work may include exploring food as medicine, daily routine as an anchor for your life, rest, movement, energy management, meditation, sensory care, seasonal practices, stress relief, healthy relationships, and all the ways you nourish yourself. The intention isn't perfection. It is awareness. When we learn to listen to ourselves, we can begin to respond with greater wisdom and compassion.
A doula is a steady presence. Someone who can sit with you in the uncertainty. Someone who can listen when there are no easy answers. Someone who can remind you of your own wisdom when life feels overwhelming.
I offer support through many of life's transitions:
- Illness When your relationship with your body or health is changing.
- Postpartum When you are learning to care for yourself while caring for another.
- Loss When something precious has been lost and there is space that needs to be held.
- Aging When your body, identity, relationships, or priorities begin to shift.
- Recovery When you are finding your way back to yourself.
There is no need to arrive polished. You don't have to have the right questions. You don't have to know what comes next. You are welcome to bring your whole self. Your fears. Your grief. Your hopes. Your questions. Your uncertainty. Your desire to feel well again. Together, we create a space for you to pause, listen inward, and reconnect with what supports you.
I believe our work is not always about getting back to who we were. Sometimes healing means discovering who we are becoming. The season you're in may not be the season you would have chosen. But you do not have to meet it alone.
In Ayurveda, digestion is about more than food. How we digest our food can be a reflection of how we digest life. We are constantly taking things in—food, experiences, emotions, relationships, information, change, grief, joy, and everything in between. When we have the capacity to receive, process, and release what life brings us, we create greater space for balance and vitality. When something feels difficult to digest, it may show up not only in the body, but also in our thoughts, emotions, energy, and relationships. Ayurveda invites us to slow down and become curious about what we are taking in, what we are able to process, and what we may be ready to release. Through nourishment, daily rhythms, mindful practices, and deeper awareness, we can begin to support the whole person--learning not only how to digest our food, but how to digest our lives.
